"Convenience of the hotel is great. Near to shopping, markets, museums, parks and entertainment. Staff is great , attentive to all my request and needs, Great views from 30th floor lobby and restaurant, city, river, including Mt. Fuji."

"Arrived early at the hotel, asked for early check-in (arround two hours), and was informed of fee for early check-in- $5. Very reasonable. Typical smaller room for Japanese Hotels, but clean and well-equipped. Location of hotel, a block away from Shin-Yokohama main train station, makes transportation easy. Good variety of eateries by hotel. I like to visit the attached grocery store for pre-made meals and fresh sushi platters. FYI- Hotel has microwaves for guest. This is my go-to hotel when I visit Yokohama. Another bonus- airport (Haneda and Narita) limo buses stop at the hotel. "

"Host was very kind and assisted with check in and directions. For a family of three the room was honestly a little small and the full shower with vanity was a shared facility. No locks on the shower and private room doors could also be a concern as well. The host turned on the heaters and was very kind during our short stay."

"Room was great. Well prepared as with all Toyoko Inn Hotels. We enjoy the central locations of the hotel and the convenience to get to and fro. Service is great and staff courteous always. And checkin and out is fast and automated after the system captured our details after the first stay. Family enjoyed the 24h coffee area and use of moisturizer due to the dry season. Breakfast is great and convenient so that we could set off quickly the next day. We drove and needed parking. While the chargeable hotel car park is not suitable for our mpv, we thank the receptionist for their info on other surrounding parking locations and charges. And indeed the charges are lower than the hotels and some have further lowered their rates."

Pros: Fresh light decor Ambient lighting Spacious Coffee/tea making facility Very good pillows Breakfast simple but well made Attractive dining room, soothing atmosphere with light decor and lovely lighting, glass from ceiling to floor, looking out to terrace with potted plants, trees and flowers Cons: We had to change one of them because of an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, but this was dealt with quickly by the courteous staff. More choice and fresh fruit at breakfast would be welcome. I’ve stayed at many hotels for work and leisure, and this is a very good one which I’d choose again, but I’d say it’s quite expensive for what it is - I suspect these prices reflect the lack of competition in the local area, which by the way is quite affluent and residential."
