Rooms were comfortable however abandoned bowling alley across the street had vagrancy's loitering around, made the area feel like it was not safe.

Old, room had an odor. Area around the tub was breaking up because of water leaks. Ice container was very dirty. One bedside light didn’t work and everything was very dusty. Bathroom was very small. The bed was comfortable.

Came here for my daughter’s highschool softball tournament for 3rd year in a row and stayed at the Super 8 Motel past years and it was clean, friendly and excellent customer service. Chose to stay here at the Best Western because we brought our new puppy with us. Huge mistake! The room was so gross, bathroom was foul, tub and toilet were so disgusting!! I actually had to stop looking because it was so incredibly gross!! The baseboards were scary with the amount of filth that they had on them. The walls looked fuzzy and had marks everywhere. I have never left a review good or bad for a hotel before, but this was one so foul and disgusting that I felt obligated to share with others. I wouldn’t let my family walk in the room with their shoes off and we keep everything up on the table, chairs or shelves because I was so afraid of what would crawl in our bags at night. We only had to stay one night, which was tough or else I would have cancelled my room and gone over to the Super 8 because they are dog friendly as well. I will never stay at this Best Western in Susanville ever again!! Best Westerns are normally pretty decent, middle of the road, but this one was absolutely disgusting. Walking into my daughters room at the super 8, because she stayed there with her team and the difference in cleanliness was noticed as soon as I stepped in her room. I felt so gross having to go back to our slum. Do yourself a favor and pass on the Best Western in Susanville
