It is unfortunate that the guest’s choice of accommodation was not thoroughly researched before she booked. I realised immediately on check she was not happy and on the following morning, offered her a 50% refund. When I attempted to process the refund, access to her credit card information was blocked because the reservation was cancelled. I requested her card details via WhatsApp which I never received. I received a call from Expedia on December 24 on the matter. I told the customer service rep of my intention to issue the refund but would need the card details. I am happy to have this matter resolved and will reach out to her for the card information again.

The property is dated, needs to be freshened up top to bottom. It is on the fringe of a wooded area nice and quite. The 1 big complaint is that the property owner did not advise us that we were the only visitors to be there most of the time so there would be no food service available, so we had to cook every meal for ourselves. So that meant going to the grocery stores and buying supplies. Not what we had in mind for a relaxing 14 day stay. The cleaning lady was fantastic she did a great job of making our stay a little more tolerable.

Our peaceful and tranquil forest setting and location on the Atlantic side of the island comes with high maintenance, which is sometimes reflected inside and outside of the cottages. Regarding the restaurant, I am sorry and truly regret it was closed during your stay. We were aiming to have the new operator on board by December1 but that did not materialize. On realizing that the opening deadline would be missed, I decided to upgrade you to a two-bedroom cottage based on your length of stay so you would be more comfortable. I am happy to know that our housekeeper provided you with good service. Once again, thanks for choosing Naniki as we continue strive for excellence in this non traditional eco niche experience. Happy holidays to you and your family. .

A serene spot overlooking the Atlantic, it was everything that we hoped it to be. Tom is a wonderful host just wished we had stayed longer. A beautiful area of Barbados that everyone should visit at least once in their life

You woke up in tranquility and the accommodation was very comfortable. The proprietor Mr. Hinds was amazing and knowledgeable.

Tom is great, he owns the property and is very hands on and helpful with knowledge about Barbados and where to go. He knows who can help and just overall very hospitable. 10 for 10 recommend, especially since the location is unlike anything else on the island.

A slice of paradise

The location was perfect, set within the natural environment of the rain forrest with stunning views. Because it's rural a car is highly recommended. A place of tranquillity and peace. You'll find the owner Tom extremely helpful too. Lovely man.

Tom the owner was very welcoming and good to talk to.Very knowledgeable.One morning a group of us went for a hike in the woods,which was lovely.I think Tom educated us all.This is a lovely place to be ,just to relax and collect your thoughts. I would definitely recommend.

Tom the owner is a super helpful guy and so friendly and kind. Stayed here with husband and 2 children for 6 nights and really enjoyed the peace and being surrounded by nature and the forest & swimming pool. Cannot stress enough how helpful Tom was from organising food, taxis, a sightseeing trip and giving lifts to my husband to get food from the local shop. If you’re not into superficial boring 5 star hotels and want to be immersed in local Bajan culture and nature this is the place for you
