I loved that the staff were friendly and helpful. What I didn't like was that the shower was very slippery and dangerous. The resort was nice but it looked a bit run down as though it had fallen on hard times and the wifi didn't work. The kind and friendly and helpful staff more than made up for that though and I would definitely stay again.

Posted 6 Mar 2020 on HotelsThe hotel had rats in the kitchen, there was no places to go for dinner, and the hotel didnt have a restaurant.. the pool was dirty, and the poolbeds were broken..
the staff was very sweet, but couldn’t speak a word English. And last of all they didn’t clean the room or got us new towels in the tree days, that we were there.. I would not recommend this hotel!!

The hotel has a good pool with pleasant riverside
Posted 23 Jun 2018 on WotifWe knocked our lower legs and bled from the wooden corners of bed base which protruded about 40 mm beyond the matress. Towel rack was outside bathroom and no clothes pegs in the bathroom so inconvenient. There was an electric jug in bedroom but no cups or tea or coffee. The cardboard cups at breakfast bar were inadequate.

This hotel does not caterer for foreigners and has too many restrictions for a holiday hotel. Even though we'd payed for 3 nights we left after 2

Pros: Kids friendly, nice pool, bicycles to borrow.
Cons: No restaurant, only breakfast so it's a little drawback.
Great family hotel, we like the pool, the nature and cleanliness. The location is also ok.

Pros: Good looking pool, didn't use it.
Cons: The bathroom was terrible!!! It was a shed added to the back of the room, the sink water inlet leaked badly and drained onto the floor.
Location: Central Plaza Mall is only 10 min away, not much of a mall, but someplace to go. The ferry to Koh Samui isn't far, but not really convenient either.
You can get a decent hotel in So. Thailand for these rates, but Naraya is not one of them, sorry to say. If you're looking for a place to sleep and aren't concerned about the upkeep of the place you will be OK for a night, maybe 2. but if you are looking for a nice place for a get-away, keep looking.

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: This is not an outlet for "farangs ".
Location: Not relevant.
This resort is a disgrace and Expedia should not include it on their outlets. We checked in and checked out on seeing the room...the bathroom was the worst I have ever seen. I did not ask for a refund...just so pleased to get out and find another hotel.

This resort was excellent for locals, but was not set up for tourists as it was a luxury spa not a hotel and did not have meals available. Would be great to stay at if you had your own transport
