I always stay at Journey: it is centrally located, relatively large room and clean; all I need for a brief 1 night stay.

Concrete boutique. Part hotel part prison prison camp. It soulds awful it is actually kinda cool.

The hostel is in a nice location. Was very comfortable, clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!

Nice place next to food market
Posted 5 Aug 2018 on Orbitz I stayed at journey the night before boarding a ferry to Koh Samui. It was a stylish room that had air-conditioning. Everything was clean, and there was a night market right across the street selling great food. I don’t know if they do that every night, but it was a lot of fun to walk around the food and shopping stalls. I got there via the phantip bus from the airport, which only cost 150 baht. I walked to the Seatran station next morning, which I don't recommend doing - pay for a taxi, it's a hot and tiring walk.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Journey Hostel. Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They helped us organise ferry ride and and driver needs we had when we wanted to drive to the elephant farm. The only thing I would really mention is that the room didn’t have a window, but that was no bother to me. There is the occasional night market right across the street too (seems mostly weekend or Monday though) also the food carts outside on the Main Street were extremely friendly too. I’d definitely stay there again and couldn’t recommend it more.

Great place. Very comfortable and clean room. The staff was very attentive. In my time of going to the airport there were no taxis available and someone from the staff made a point of taking me to the airport.
