19-Nov-19 RM 610 The reception Ms Santi was very helpful when I wanted to print a document to sign & that i had to urgently email back home. She suggested to print, let me sign & then scan for me. And everything was done in 10mins. I really appreciate her initiative and excellent attitude to helping her guests.

Comfortable stay

Hotel clean, modern and well maintained with zany decor. Staff really helpful and most speak reasonable English, not common in Borneo. We just had overnight stop so can't comment on location. Dinner in the restaurant was good as well. Happy to recommend Artotel.

Good exp staying here

Concierge was helpful, quick to respond. One thing about the hotel, they play music in the hallway. You can barely hear it in the room, but still, you can hear a little bit of it. Room was clean, AC was cold. Liked it!

The property is situated in a good location where there are great cafes close by. The bed and pillows are very comfortable but the rooms are pretty run down, far from what I expected based on the images we saw on Expedia. The hotel staff at the reception on night duty isn’t very helpful when we wanted to lodge a police report at 2AM after my friend realised he lost his wallet.

I like the bathroom. The bed is comfortable but I suspect it to have bed bugs. I stayed there for 7 nights and have been seen bugs bites on my body.... The staff is pleasant and honest. I left adaptor upon checked out and came by the next day and asked them to check. They did find it. This is not very common. Usually people won’t care for whatever left when you already checked out.
