Phone did not work,put us in room 2 which was farerest from any entrance remote for tv was wrong one so not a happy camper and not likely to stay again.

The property is well kept and they are always busy in terms of there being a lot parking lot traffic (which is good to see when you are unsure about the property to stay at). Inside the lobby area is clean and smells clean (its an older property but does not smell of must or mold or dirt) and although the rooms are old, they are very clean. For dislikes: the bedding (quilt) was torn along the seam on one of the beds, the curtains that match the bedding are faded in color and the outside door from the parking lot (secondary door into the inn) did not appear to lock (at least not as of 10pm).

Returned to find maid had left door ajar all day after cleaning. Toilet doesn't flush unless handle is held down. Musty smell upon arrival.

Noisy carts and vacuuming really early morning. Smell to the room. Likely the carpet.

As there was no dining opportunity due to staff shortage, the Hostess recommended awesome restaurant not far away called Gentleman Jim's. It was excellent. Beds need to be replaced in the room we had. They sagged to the middle and were very uncomfortable. But overall good, clean, safe hotel.
