This is a nice, quiet location in the middle of a very small town. As in many Icelandic hotels, the "double bed" was two twin beds pushed together. The walls are a bit thin, so we could hear the neighbor coughing, but otherwise no complaints. The staff were pleasant and helpful, the beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and the breakfast was good. There were a surprising number of guests for the relative remoteness of the location. The whole area is clearly on the brink of becoming more touristy, so enjoy the peace and quiet, and the relative sense of being in "real" Iceland, while you can.

The food is great, parking is pretty easy.

Though the room for a solo traveler was relatively small, i but 1 f I t was super clean, I could adjust the heat, the bed and bedding were comfortable. and the staff were super friendly and helpful!

Great little stay for a night or two. We had a room above the restaurant, which unfortunately made our room reek of fish every night.
If you are not a fan of that smell maybe ask for a room in the building across the street. Breakfast was great and staff were very helpful and welcoming.

This place was awesome! It was clean, modern, and simple. I had a simple fish soup at their resturaunt and it turned to be one of the best Ive had in iceland. I will definitely come back again if I have the choice.
