A lovely, small hotel with a great pool, good breakfast and very friendly staff. I was disappointed we were facing the hillside but I’m not sure how much of a lake view the other side of the hotel would have because of trees. It is really convenient for the Lido area and boats to the Borromean Islands. It is quite a long walk into the town to the main restaurant area (at least 20 minutes) although it is a beautiful route along the lakefront. The main port to get boats to other places is also quite a walk. It is convenient for the station.

Lovely clean hotel with friendly staff, who were always willing to help us out with questions regarding travel to nearby attractions. The breakfast was also good.

Nice hotel with good rooms.

Pros: Very nice room with balcony and good bathroom and shower. Nice swimming pool and sun loungers.Helpful and pleasant staff. Good breakfast.
Cons: The restaurant/breakfast room is uninspiring overlooking car park. Shuttle service to centre of Stresa would be very welcome.
Location: A little far from centre of Stresa but close to cable car and the smaller of the two ferry terminals for trips to the islands. Not far from station.
Very nice hotel with helpful reception staff and plenty of information about things to do in the area. Lake Maggiore is a beautiful destination with many worthwhile excursions.

Great position
Posted 2 Aug 2018Nice hotel, helpful staff with good breakfast. Swimming pool a bonus and a balcony with plenty of room. Great position for the ferry to the islands and the cable car.
