While the manor house is picturesque and beautiful with the charm you would expect, the pictures are deceiving. This property is situated immediately adjacent to a main thoroughfare. Additionally the rooms are not in the manor house. The rooms are set apart in different building which are much more similar to a traditional hotel and are of quality equal to a Hampton Inn.

Air conditioning was weak and so the room was too hot!

Me and a friend stayed here for the night for my 40th birthday. We were greeted by Amelia who was fantastic, very friendly and accommodating. Our stay was lovely the location perfect and generally the staff were great. There was a very abrupt gentleman at front office in the morning but everyone else including the house keeping ladies were great. We had a treatment there and this was great too :) thank you

We stayed for a long weekend and had the best stay. We took our 2 year old and our miniature poodle. The hotel was really accommodating for both of them. It’s a great location, walkable to all the attractions and easy to park up. The hotel is very clean but the rooms are a little dated.

My overall rating would have been Higher if I had been in a different room. There was a noisy humming sound that went all night and it made it difficult to sleep. I also couldn’t open my window and get fresh air as smokers would stand near it and the smoke came straight into my room.
The staff could be a little friendlier. However the young Man on reception who checked me in was lovely.
