Had a good stay at the Waterfront. Building is a bit dated and in need of refurb but the cleanliness and staff were great. Breakfast was quite good. The only downside is the shower that kept going off while showering and the creaky floorboards in the room. Would probably stay again if in the area.

Loved area didnt like hotel room.Wind blowing in window, Shower inop,Heating on timer

Disappointed to read this. You only told us about the shower on check out. If you had mentioned it earlier in the morning we could have fixed it. We went straight up to the room and had it fixed within 2 minutes. You also didn't mention a problem with the heating during your stay. The windows are a problem and we are waiting for approval from the council to replace them due to listed building restrictions.

Room was tiny, bathroom is so small, you have to fill the kettle with a tiny cup.

We booked a superior double room with a king size bed to discover it was 2 single mattresses pushed together, the restaurant was closed we had to go to the sister hotel for breakfast which we were told we would have to be there for 8.30 am because they were fully booked breakfast was an extra if we hadn’t took that booking we would not have got a breakfast which we had paid for with our booking.

The room was warm and comfortable but the hot water was hit and miss. The internet didn’t work. There was a lot of apologies and the offer of a free drink with dinner. The restaurant was fully booked, no privileges for guests (and no free drink)
