Everything was perfect to be fair . Standard but perfect . Only thing to moan about was on arrival the reception seems to be ran by the manager that also works the pub . We arrived tea time friday and the pub was busy . Myself and my partner and anotuer family had to wait a good 15 / 20 mins before anybody came to check us in

Dated but very clean. Some pub noise if windows were open but ceased by bedtime. Shower was great, very powerful & suite seemed updated though tiles etc were not. Served its purpose for clean & comfortable accommodation in the area. Lots of EV charging points which was great. Didn’t try any dining options so can’t comment there. Bathroom was clean but smelt a little damp, cleared quickly on airing with door open. Floor in bathroom felt a bit springy underfoot. Maybe old beams or the route of the damp smell?? I’d stay again if needed.

The staff in the bar area were great with the kids. Food was good 👍
Our room was so noisy with people next door and upstairs walking about only not even trying to be noisy just the building was creeky! the bed was uncomfortable and the pillows lumpy.
Check in and out was easy, free parking plenty of spaces . We didnt sleep great due to uncomfortable bed, bathroom tired and needed updating.
Probably would stay elsewhere next time but for the price you get what you pay for .

The window in our room was all mouldy with dirty curtains, and we didn’t like the breakfast selection. Other than that the stay was okay, staff are very nice and helpful.

The staff were all really nice people very helpful and the girls behind the bar were really nice and very friendly especially Bethany she was a very helpful and chatty girl always smiling
