This is an amazing small property to stay. I’ve actually stayed there three times this year. The property Managers are terrific and the amenities are perfect! Beds are super comfortable!

Sorry you had trouble making your reservation on-line reflect the actual number of guests in each room. It is also unfortunate that you did not come to the office the morning after your very late arrival, to complete your registration, receive your receipts and Internet password. I think better planning would help your enjoyment of reserved lodging on future travels.

Room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Other than that the furnishings were VERY outdated, table was wobbly, bathroom outdated, room is poorly lit, "TV" was a 26" monitor waaaayy across the room, etc. When you arrive you are immediately hit with rules - parking signs, then when you check in you have to sign a paper with a list of rules (and their associated fines). Inside the room are more rules. While there is a kitchenette one rule is no frying anything, so forget your bacon and sausage breakfast.

Yes, no frying of bacon or fish or other foods in rooms. Subsequent guests will thank you. If you do fry, subsequent guests will curse you. Rules are typical of all hotels when you check in, we just ask you to read and understand them.

Idaho, because of the low vaccination rates for the Delta Covid variant, has caused conservative property owners to be off the grid in terms of stay restrictions. If you are traveling on your own or as a couple and do not seek to have visitations from friends this is a great place. If you would expect to have visitors over at any level forget it. They will not be admitted to your unit - very restrictive practices here,

The Valley Creek Lodge was a great spot for us. The check-In process was very smooth and everyone was super friendly, from the housekeeper to the owner. The location is so convenient to area restaurants and Stanley Lake hikes and the place was spotless. We would stay again for sure.
