A must stay for anyone who appreciates next level hotels. Dinner was excellent, mother's day brunch was over the top wonderful. Poolside cafe lacks attentive service...but poolside servers were great!

The room was lovely, bed super comfy everything was clean! The property was beautifully maintained and the entire staff was very friendly and welcoming

Historic and luxurious with great amenities. The staff are attentive to your every need. Lounging by the pool was the highlight of the trip.

Food was very poor quality. Service was poor. Towels were dirty and thin by the pool area. The places that were good to eat at locally were booked for days. I have been coming to the Don for 30 years and I have never seen it so run down and lacking service as I did on this visit. This will be my last. It has went from a 5 star hotel to a 2-3 star. The facility and staff certainly shows it. FYI: They accept only credit cards or room charge on a credit card plus you will have a daily 200 hold charge on top of the room cost. This started in February of this year. I hope this helps others so you're not blindsided.
