The boat is amazing!
The stereo did not work, we did not have a kayak or our own personal dingy. Definitely am going to stay again though.

So glad you will stay with us again. We apologize for one of our dinghy boats being repaired during your stay. We have got two more dinghy boats up and running so you will definitely have your own dinghy boat next time, as most of our guests have had during their stay, except if a guest is unsure about driving the shuttle boat and chooses the option to be shuttled around. We will always continue to give our guests that option as well. Thanks so much for the great review.

We enjoyed the boat so very much. My boyfriend enjoyed fishing off the front of the boat, I enjoyed sunbathing from the double wide lounger on the top deck and the incredible office area allowed me to do online school work (I was studying for a final the entire week while on board). We used the provided motor boat to go into town to pick up fresh groceries to grill on the top deck each evening, to visit a local bar, and even spend a day at pier 60. This may actually have been one of our favorite vacations of all times!

Nothing on the boat worked. There was no toilet paper. The small we were to use to go to the shore was not available. The refrigerators would not stay running without the generator running. The owner was rude and foul mouthed.The only good thing was his employees. They were helpful.

There is always toilet paper on the boat when a guest arrives as per our checklist and more is always delivered promptly when requested. The shuttle boat requires a demonstration of operation so the shuttle boat is turned over the next day when a guest arrives late. The 12 volt system always keeps one of the refrigerators running 24 hours a day. We always strive to make each guest’s stay pleasant and promptly address any needs when given the chance to do so.

My wife and i spent New Years weekend on board the Emrald Gold. The houseboat was great the bed was nice and the view was amazing. The owner was fantasic and was there in the morning to provide gas for the generator. Sitting on the deck watching the sun go down and having a couple of drinks and having dinner outside on the 2nd level was amazing. The skiff that he provides needs a little added equipment such as lights so that you can go into town at night. But over all it was clean and fun and we will be back again.

This was a truly wonderful experience. It’s a five minute walk to the beach, the bed and pillows are very comfortable and we loved staying there. Blair was very helpful and he checked on us several times. He is quite the character!
The boat was anchored in the channel and we had a lot of fun going back and forth to the docks in the small little boat.

Fun, family adventure!
Posted 7 Jul 2021 on HotelsLocation was amazing! Beautiful bay with gorgeous sunsets, breezy nights and dolphin sightings! Having use of the dinghy to go to the dock was great, and the public beach was just a five minute walk. The boat is not a luxury yacht by any means, but was comfortable and clean. The bedding and towels were premium. Be prepared it’s a combination of camping/boating so there are some factors some would consider “roughing it.” (toilet paper disposal, no housekeeping, etc) Blair, our host, spent time explaining everything we needed to know about generators, AC, inverters, etc. and answered our texts in a reasonable time frame. He was a bit laid back and didn’t seem quite prepared for our arrival. (No garbage bags, ran out of gas and water), but he remedied the situation. Overall, a fun adventure I’d definitely do again!
