When purchased, I should’ve been informed of 40 bucks of resort fee & 38 per night for parking.

Beautiful location and classic hotel. Unfortunately our check in wait was over an hour even though we arrived promptly at check in time indicated. We felt rushed given that we had dinner reservations and needed to shower and change with little time due to this inconvenience. The food, ambiance and wait staff at the Martiana restaurant on site was excellent!

My wife and I booked this hotel as a last minute spontaneous getaway. It turned out to be an excellent hotel stay. The room was spacious and the bedding was amazing. We liked that there were several dining options that allowed us to stay at the hotel without leaving. The live music every night was also very enjoyable. Although we didn’t take advantage of it this time, the fact they offer complimentary bike riding and kayaking from 9am to 12pm was nice. We also liked the fact the beach chairs and umbrellas were included with our stay rather than a surcharge like many places. These things helped justify the higher price for the stay even more. The only thing we wished they allowed was swimming at night. Unfortunately the pool closes at sundown which is still early hours. I understand that it’s important to not have people being loud in the pool during bedtime hours but It would have been nice to enjoy the pool until at least 10 pm. The lighting is nice and makes the swim a more enjoyable atmosphere without the worries of the beaming hot sun after being out all day in the sun. We highly recommend this place and will stay again in the future. Definitely the best hotel on St. Pete Beach!

I really wanted to love this place and the beach was gorgeous but that is where it ended. It is clearly in need of a major renovation and upgrade. It is showing its age in a major way and maintenance has been seriously neglected. So many little things needed to be fixed and cleaned and painted. There was no hot water in the hotel for a day...which seemed to be the icing on the cake. Nothing like taking a cold shower before heading out to dinner. We couldn't even get our bill when we left since the system was down for hours. The elevators were visibly dirty. For the cost of a room the place should be immaculate. While most of the staff was fantastic some were just downright surly. The individual at the front desk when we checked in made me feel like I was checking into a prison. Smile? What smile?? Said she was going to call when our room was ready which she never did...checked us in very late because the room wasn't ready and I could go on. I had to repeatedly go to the front desk and ask for a status every time being told they would call us and they never did. Outside staff by the pool was incredible, the concierge was great as were many others but everyone in a customer facing position should be great - ESPECIALLY at the main desk. What should be an incredible hotel needs some serious attention to bring it back to its former glory.
