Dover Beach Hotel is a small but clean hotel where the beach and main road are easily accessible . The Sea Grape restuarant served a simple menu of tasty meals. The staff at the hotel were always friendly and ready to assist with transport or tours. The room was tidied every day and the ac worked well, especially on the extremely hot days when we came back from a tour or the beach. I would stay there again!

Dover Beach Hotel is such a cute and quaint hotel, located in one of the best spots in Dover. Right next to/on the beach and a short walk into the Gap, for us it was perfect. The staff are all so lovely and really try to make sure your needs are met. The room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed in our kitchenette. We enjoyed our days between both pools and thoroughly enjoyed the choices for breakfast at the restaurant on site-the waffles are so yummy. There are some great spots to grab lunch or dinner on the main road, in particular Socialites and Irie Foods are fantastic! The vibe at the hotel is laid back, comfortable for everyone. You can really tell the staff care about how you're liking your stay. This wasn't our first stay here and certainly won't be our last! Keep up the good work DBH team! Thank you for a lovely time :)

The restaurant staff are in dire need of customer service training. We had to seat ourself, find our own menu and cutlery and dust the sand off the chairs and tables before sitting. Ordered a soup starter and mains and for some inexplicable reason everything was served to us all at once. By the time we were done with our soup which was unbarebly sweet for a "vegetable soup" our mains were cold. Food lacked flavour and staff were cold and unprofessional. When done with the meal no one showed up for us to sign off on the bill....we had to go find the staff ourselves. Overall a very dissapointing experience.

A typical 3 star hotel. The front desk staff are very lovely, friendly and welcoming. I was disappointed that there was no coffee machine in the room because that’s standard at all hotels. We had to buy our own coffee at the convenient store down the street. We asked for small packets of cream and sugar from the restaurant at the hotel but they refused to give us any unless we purchased a coffee from them. The water from the shower head was spilling over the glass door and making a puddle in our washroom on the first day but the staff quickly jumped on it and fixed this immediately. It’s a good hotel if you’re looking for something more affordable while travelling. The location is perfect and in the lively st. Lawrence gap area. Very touristy and the locals are very kind and friendly. We never felt uncomfortable even when we were walking around in the dark at night.

The staff were really personable, kind and professional. The rooms were clean and correct. The common areas are not in perfect condition, but that was a fair trade-off for the price. In total it was a pleasant stay without the cost of luxury resort prices.
