We loved everything about our stay. Monique was a wonderful host, and made a terrific breakfast. The lodge was very comfortable and just what a lodge should be.

We were refused to stay. Thr owner did not seem happy to see us and then when she saw us or the two small dogs decided they were not pet friendly.
Thr lodge looks amazing but being refused caused us to have to drive home since there were no pet friendly hotels availability at 7 at night in the arwa.

Our house rules are that people can bring 1 dog only through pre arrangement with the owner which you didn’t do. Next you were disrespectful and started to argue with me when I explained to you that extra charges apply when bringing a dog. Your reaction was that you wanted a refund and that you would find your self another place to stay. You didn’t need a refund because I never charge people before arrival and I didn’t charge you for canceling even though I could have because of my cancellation policy. It is a sad thing that is always the people who don’t get away with what they wanted to get away with who post reviews like this. The good thing is that people who are looking for a nice place to stay are aware of things like that and make reservations with us anyway. We wish you all the best !

The large house is absolutely beautiful. It is easy to find with my GPS (or directions) and it is surrounded by nature. It is immaculate. It smells good. I slept like a baby. The Innkeeper, Monique, is terrific. It was perfect for me and my 2-night stay. I would absolutely stay there again.

Clean and beautiful
Posted 15 Aug 2023 on HotelsBeautiful and very clean property for a weekend with hubby. We got the master bedroom (bear), which had the attached en suite bath. Room was very spacious, bed was comfortable. Log cabin feel. Quiet retreat from the city. Cooperstown is about forty minutes away, drive in movie about 15 minutes, and small town 20 minutes.
