Beautiful pool and beach. I’m used to more planned activities at an all inclusive and more food options. The restaurants were sub par except the Italian one. My room smelled old

staff was helpful and polite, and the complimentary balloons were lovely. Champagne was requested in the room days before arrival given that 3 things were being celebrated during the stay but it was not received.

I rated the Royalton top 1 prior to visiting Antigua. Sadly, my experience here was my worse yet. I’ve stood at the Royalton in other countries and had no complaints. I wasn’t given the room I originally booked (mind you the property was empty), went to sleep hungry because I was turned down at the restaurants or was told that they ran out of food, the workers treat you as though you didn’t spend your hard earned money to be there. Many other guests were complaining about the lack of service as well. I was celebrating a birthday which was indicated upon checking in and it was a slap in the face to see doors on my same floor decorated for the occasion and not mine. If you’re considering staying here, don’t!

1. The facility is old. The rooms had mold and mildew. The rooms smelled like mold and mildew. The rooms were half cleaned and the sheets were wet when we arrived to our room and they kept telling us was it’s because of the moisture in the air. 2. if you had a problem with the rooms, the concierge representative will look at you like you’re crazy and have an attitude as if you’re inconveniencing them and will half try to help you 3. If you ask for some compensation back for the terrible service you receive and the property not being as advertised, they will stop responding to you or the third-party that you booked through 4. The food was terrible at most of the specialty restaurants. The only food that was edible was the steakhouse and the sports bar if they had the food that was on the menu. 5. The resort is not big&they did not have entertainment every night. The resort is very dry. They only had one white night, and that was the best thing they offered which they should put on every night. 6. Honestly , I would not recommend this hotel. The need to take interpersonal classes, rebrand, care about people experiences who paid a lot of money and redo the hotel. Its old and the tried to dress it up with new paint . My room had visible mold on the ceiling and was leaking through the ceiling. The lights half worked at times. Experience was just foolish

ROOM SERVICE AND FRONT DESK ARE TERRIBLE, NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE, NO TOWELS ON MY ROOM WHEN ARRIVAL, CALL FRONT DESK AND NO BODY ANSWER, FOOD IS AVERAGE. 1 NIGHT POWER WENT OUT FOR ABOUT AN 1 AND TO GENERATOR AVAILABLE, SO WATER UTILITY INOP. EVERY TIME YOU ASK FOR SOMETHING, EXAMPLE FOOD A STEAK THEY SAID JUST OVER, OR ANY OTHER BEVERAGE AND WENT TO ANOTHER PLACE ON THE HOTEL AND FOUND AVAILBLE, WHICH MEANING THE STAFF AREN'T ABOVE AND BEYOND, SUPER LAZZY.
