The grounds are spectacular. The staff was accommodating and hard working. A few honorable mentions include Olive from the front desk and Paul and Martin, the restaurant managers. We will be back!

This is a beautiful place to stay in St. Ives. The staff are very lovely and the grounds are so well kept.
We had the bed and breakfast package and the breakfast was delicious and filled us up for a day of walking along the beaches.

Stayed in Courtyard upstairs room not in main building. Quiet but hotel was not full. Pool quiet but needs a lot of updating. Nice walk into town. Uphill all the way back

A castle, with a view of the ocean, what more could you ask for? Well, maybe not a facecloth, or an in-room refrigerator, or an outlet on hubbie’s side of the bed for his CPAP, or an easy walk from the train station with all your luggage (call a taxi, trust us on this!). But the grounds are big and beautiful, including a “secret” garden, an outdoor pool, and a small golf course. The staff are unfailingly friendly, helpful and beyond competent. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water. And there’s a lovely shortcut down the hill to the beach and town. And what a great town! Crooked little cobblestone streets, with lots of shops, restaurants, bakeries, and art galleries. The Southwest Coastal Path is there if you like hiking, with spectacular views. In summary, there’s a lot to love about the location, and the Tregenna Resort itself.

This is a great place to stay. Location wise it’s a 6-7 min walk to the beach and st Ives.
Staff were all mega friendly and really helpful. Food both breakfast and dinner were great quality with good variety. Possibly a little pricey but similar to local restaurants of similar quality.
Facilities were great with 2 pools spa and tennis courts.
Room only had a double bed which in fairness is what I booked, but I’d forgotten how small a double is! Book the king size rooms if you can.
Overall one of the nicest stays I’ve had in a while

Too many kids running wild, nowhere to sit and relax / quiz occupied the bar!
Problems with service at breakfast
Very noisy room
Long walk from car to reception

We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us. We are a family resort and it was a school holiday so we did have a few children stay. There are a number of car parks and parking facilities around the resort, we would have happily directed you to a closer one.
