Good, friendly hotel.
Posted 13 Oct 2021 on HotelsThe hotel is apparently closing soon which is a shame because we loved it. It was a bit quirky and old fashioned but very clean. The staff were superb and very friendly. The bar service and food quality was good. The position was excellent, convenient for the local restaurants and bus station. You can easily reach it by bus from the airport too.
We stayed for six nights with friends and we all had a great time.

Nice hotel perhaps a little dated excellent choices for breakfast though sometimes not as hot as it could be. Staff all vey friendly. Room very clean it is a 3 star hotel not a 5 star hotel.

Posted 13 Sep 2021 on HotelsFabulous short stay in traditional hotel. Staff excellent. Room could have done with some talc but we booked a basic twin and it was very comfortable.
Food and service in the courtyard restaurant was excellent

What a disappointment.
Posted 10 Sep 2021 on HotelsThe picture’s displayed look stunning. Loved the old style look. When you see for yourself what it actually looks like it’s a real disappointment. Frankly, the whole experience was a real let down.
My main concern was the boiling hot water when trying to have a shower. Unable to regulate the temperature.
Not a place for elderly people, no lift, lots of rugs, lots of stairs with thick carpets. I do not recommend this hotel, waste of money.

Lovely stay in characterful gem
Posted 23 Jul 2021 on HotelsThe hotel is lovely - slightly quirky and full of character. Very convenient for town and the beach. The staff were very sweet and helpful. The only downside was not the hotel’s fault - we were there in the heatwave and the room was very hot at night. Also seagulls very noisy at night!
