Beautiful and peaceful hotel with lovely staff. The gardens are very attractive even in a wet March.

I fancied an impromptu trip to Cornwall and found this brilliant little hotel
The small family staff team were incredibly welcoming and lovely, and went out of their way to help you with any questions
The restaurant provided excellent quality service and food in a convivial atmosphere
I would highly recommend this hotel and will be delighted to stay there again in the future

Posted 5 Aug 2019 on HotelsThe service in this hotel is second to none. We felt welcomed from the beginning and it was not only at reception. The same service was found throughout the hotel (including the restaurant and the bar). We were very impressed with their facilities and the way the staff went out of their way to satisfy our needs.
The only issue that we found is that the charge for the dog should be made clear from the first day. But this is just a detail.

This is a lovely hotel in a beautifully, quiet and peaceful setting. The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. With a little more attention to detail this hotel could be outstanding. Eg individual complimentary toiletries, restaurant staff training, music in bar area for ambience etc. These are tiny details as we had a wonderful stay at this hotel. So convenient for getting about the area too. Would definitely stay again.
