loved the hotel - the easy parking and lobby was great. The coffee and breakfast as well.

Such a unique hotel. Everything up to date and clean. Check in and check out via iPad was super easy and convenient.

Comfortable stay!
Posted 25 Feb 2024 on HotelsThe accommodations were good but there was no person to ask questions. Checking in and out was all electronic, which is OK if there are no questions.

Staying in a clean hotel/rental is top priority for me and my family. Our room (35) in the back rooms of the Hartness house was impeccably clean. Pay attention to your booking, there are many rooms not in the original house where we stayed and I would highly recommend. You still have access to the charming main house, with its rich history, and if you’re lucky, a tour down underneath the house to check out James Hartness’s private quarters, telescope and small museum honoring him and many inventors from his time. Breakfast was just what we needed before heading to Okemo to ski, only a 25 minute drive. The small town of Springfield is very charming as well, with food options and remnants of an industrial era. The Hartness House is definitely worth a stay
