I am a disabled person so having a room on the top floor was instantly a turn off but its all they had available due to everything going on up here this week. The room is clean and house keeping has done a great job. The a/c works well.The beds and pillows are comfy. HOWEVER the strong, overwhelming marijuana smell was quite powerful. So strong, in fact that we called the front desk and made sure they knew it wasn't us. When we left for supper there was a guy sitting in front of a lower level room smoking a joint. Just out in the open like it was legal or something. I don't have a problem with it except that it STINKS!

Brandi,I am so sorry that we did not have a lower level room available for you. It is has been a crazy couple of weeks!I also apologize for the strong odor of weed, ever since our grand state of Arkansas passed legal marijuana for "medical" purposes everybody in their dog thinks is it ok to smoke! That is a battle that everyone is fighting.

This was a last minute stay for us. We had a vacation planned and our flights were cancelled and it just so happened to be a holiday weekend so not a lot was available. Thankfully this place was. On the plus side, it has a newer/clean looking pool (it was stormy so we didn't swim, the front desk person was nice and helpful, and the room had areas that were updated. On the negative side, the carpet was really worn and dirty, a roach ran across the bathroom when I was in there and it was fairly loud in the area later at night.

I am truly sorry that you have such a bad opionion of our hotel. We work very hard to keep up the property and our rooms. We are so busy, and that means we do our updates a little at a time. Right now we are working on the doors, and the metal stairs and railing. We hope to start on the carpets later in the year. We have a contract with Rid-a-pest, they come in and spray regularly, and we normally do have a problem with bugs. With that being said, we are an outdoor corridor property and with all of the rain it does tend to bring bugs in when the door is open.Again, I apologize that you were happy.

Great location for our trip. Clean room and comfy beds as well as pleasant staff. Would stay here again.

The staff was friendly and went the extra mile to provide superior service. I do wish that the room had an alarm clock
