Great location close the restaurants and wharf for tours. Staff were fabulous and very obliging. We were given early access to breakfast because of early your departure and the transfer they arranged were very efficient. Highly recommend

Excellent location! The hotel does not have a lift for suitcases and there are not always able bodied persons to take them up the stairs. Guests should be aware of this as not all travellers are physically capable of taking their luggage up and down four flights of stairs.

Hello Judy,we are perfectly aware of the stairs so we ask for arrival time that somebody can be here to help the guests carry it up the stairs. You had to take it down the stairs by your self because you didn't told us the day before that you car checking out at 7:30 in the morning and that you need help.FYI if you drink something from the mini bar in hotel room you need to pay for that. So consider that these 20 Euros that you did not paid can be compensation for carrying your own suitcases down the stairs.Kind regards,

Good location for visiting the Old Town. Comfortable bed.

I had one more night in Split after my week of sailing around the Croatian islands. This is a charming boutique hotel in the heart of the Palace. Be prepared for a 1/4 mile walk or so rolling your luggage as cars are not allowed in the city center. And be sure to wear ‘proper shoes’ as the steps up to the hotel are centuries old and polished slick! Very clean, very nice and comfortable. Also be prepared for a lot of noise until the sidewalk cafes and bars close at midnight.

The staff here could not have been friendlier or done more for us. Always on hand and asking if we needed anything. One small complaint would be the bed was too soft but seems to be normal for most hotels now to have soft mattress. Location was fabulous - 4 min walk to most places we wanted and only 10 to bus station. Would book here again.

The Staff was super friendly and very accommodating. The problem was that they did not have the facilities nor the infrastructure to work with. Firstly, we had trouble finding the entrance as it is behind the hotel in an alley way surrounded by trash cans and dead rodents. The picture in Expedia is extremely deceiving. The ocean front Split area has a disgusting sewage odor that my wife, daughter and I could barely put up with. The restaurants close around 5pm and sometimes earlier that the stated online times "if they choose to do so". The room itself was crooked. My wife and I actually propped pillows underneath ourselves as we felt as though we were going to roll out of bed. I know that sounds ridiculous and we have never encountered this before throughout visiting almost 100 countries but it is true about our room here.

Hello David,we did send you an e-mail with written location description how to find us.When you smell an unpleasant scent, which sometimes can happen during the south wind, you just keep the window closed.Comment about restaurants in the area have no place here.And not that it sound ridiculous but it is ridiculous that you ''though we were going roll out of bed'' and I'm sorry that I can not attach picture of the room floor and the bed with leveling instrument on it.Kind regards,
