The property looked a little bit unfinished. For instance, the safe was not bolted to the wall. Also, there was public construction outside of the beach right in front of the hotel. Looks like there's a year-long renovation for the area. I'm sure it'll look nice after that is done before now. You basically can't use the beach outside the hotel. Even the view outside of balcony is obstructed by a bunch of construction. That was unfortunate.

When finished the project will upgrade the beach infrastructure and features, and will benefit the visitors as well as our hotel. We apologize if the construction site reduced your overall experience and the sea view from your room. May we add to your comment: first beach open for swimming is just 5 min. from the hotel by foot. In addition, there is a beach club, just 10 min. away by foot. The hotel itself is beautiful. But unfortunately there is major beach and road construction in front of the hotel. I was there for a special event and specifically picked this hotel because of the ocean view and beach that was going to be steps away from our door. That was not the case. This was also not communicated before hand. I know city construction is not in the hotels control but we would have really appreciated a heads up on what would impact our stay and directions on how to get to the hotel since the road was closed.

Excellent value for money for the high standard of hotel. Good location for beach, the hotel facilities were faultless. Room was large, modern and clean. Staff were so kind and helpful. I will definitely recommend.

Posted 4 Sep 2023 on HotelsHotel Fanat was fantastic! The hotel is actually way better than the pictures, it has recently been updated so it has a very modern boutique feel to the place.
It is located opposite a public beach which was nice to lie on some beach towels provided by the hotel. They are really small stones so not hard on your back at all.
The food here is exceptional - I have to mention the beefsteak and truffle pasta which was absolutely divine!
The staff are so lovely, welcoming and friendly - they were all amazing. We asked the manager where we could get the lovely little fig snacks that were in the rooms as we wanted to bring some back, he was so generous he just gave us two boxes to take home!
The location is only a 15 minute cab ride into the centre of Split, Ubers cost around 6 euro each way. There is a little supermarket next to the hotel which is handy for things like water and snacks etc.
They upgraded us to a suite when we got there which was amazing! It had two massive beds with two bathrooms which had lovely Rituals shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser.
Overall a brilliant hotel and very fairly priced. Highly reccomend!

A very nice hotel. It’s a boutique hotel feel.
Breakfast was good
Staff is super friendly
Rooms are VERY nice. The upgrade is very nice.
Around the area is good as well (only 8euro Uber ride to old town), grocery next door.
