Amazing view of the Thun lake and Spiez castle from the property. Very unique place to stay, offering a perfect Swiss experience. Close to all tourist destinations like Grindelwald, Istelwald, Jungfrau. Well connected by bus and train. The staff provided a bus pass so we didn't have to walk to the train station.
Good weather in May made our stay in the comfy room with a scenic view memorable.
Make sure you check and book the room as they have multiple categories of lake view rooms. The best view is from higher floors. Ours had a view partially blocked by a house.

The hotel is beautiful over look the lake with mountains surrounding it. We stay at the room wit a balcony over looking the beautiful view of the lake as well as the Spiez castle. The hotel also offer a free shuttle form and to the airport which was very helpful.
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The only thing i was uncomfortable with is the very thin pillow which what i’ve always have a problem with. The bed was very soft but for someone like me with a back problem this was painful. Asides of that everything else was wonderful. Though there’s not much to see, but i would still recommend it. As it will be a resfehing and calming holiday.

Posted 27 Nov 2023 on HotelsLoved this hotel and it was such a shame that we were here for just one night. I'd return to Spiez just to stay at this hotel again. Beautiful property located in a beautiful location. Staff was amazing, friendly, and so accommodating. We had to catch an early train and they packed breakfast for us to eat on the train. The dry sauna overlooking the lake was so dreamy. Thank you so much for a pleasant stay.

What a beautiful part of the world. Very nice wellness area and lovely breakfast in the lake. Very kind to offer a ride to the train station.
