The Southfield Westin was a wonderful property to stay at. Convenient to the Detroit airport and also to the Henry Ford Museum. A beautiful hotel with great staff

Booked this stay, and I wouldn’t take it back for the life of me. From the staff to the rooms. Everything was amazing. The ambiance in the lobby alone, made me feel very welcomed.

I liked the parking in the back of the hotel and the facility had a direct connection to the second floor of the hotel. I found it very convenient.

Our stay over the weekend was everything you would expect from a Westin. Check in was smooth and quick, and staff were extremely genuine and cordial. Valet attendants were readily available. The room was clean, the bathroom sink has plenty of space to lay your things (ladies!) and water pressure was excellent. We did not dine there but the coffee shop in the morning was sufficient. My only frustration was I went down to the bar for a soda close to midnight and was told the bar was closed, while there were plenty of guests still drinking. I was also charged $4 for it while I’m so used to soda being free. I was getting money out just to tip the bartender but ended up paying for the soda and tipping them zero. I felt rushed and unwelcome after a long night of walking around downtown.

Bed sheets had a big old blood spot on them.
