Staff were disinterested and unhelpful. The room was grubby and needed a good clean, the shower didn't work properly. The countryside views advertised were a road and a car park.

This is a lovely place to stay run by a great team
The wood fired pizzas were excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast menu which was much better than anticipated for the price. The surrounding area is very beautiful too.

The place felt clean, but not so great decoratively. Paint issues around one of the windows, missing blind at the same window. Assume these are related, but tissue stuffed in a hole is not the nicest thing to look at.
That said, it served its purpose, the staff were friendly, and the food was great.

Perfect stop over for our walk of the South Downs Way - really friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room and delicious breakfast.

Posted 17 Aug 2023 on HotelsThe pub is set on a country road with ample parking. The rooms are clean and modern, the furnishings are to a high standard. The bathroom is also very clean and modern with some nice touches. The shower was of good power and great temp control. The pub and food was good, nice ambience in the pub and used by the locals for food, so must be good.
