Old squeaky beds, instead of a king size got 2 smaller beds. Other than that I liked convenient location, nearby restaurants and shopping.

Room was very noisy. Bed shakes every time the cable car goes by. Totally unacceptable. Hotel is dark, gloomy.

It was good, classic big hotel vibes. Clean and well located. The only thing I did not like was the sky bar. Yes, the view was pretty, but service was beyond terrible, the cocktail I had was forgettable and insanely expensive, and they charged $9 for a soda water.

Overall it was nice. I did have to ask several times to have my bedding changed as when I arrived the bed had stains on it - not ok for the price. Also, valet parking is almost 100$ which is nuts! But maybe that’s normal for this area.

Alleyway noise is very good for people that don’t like sleep I expect a Marriott to buy windows that meet sound standards vs sound amplifiers. On the good side security did go out to check that workers continued to ensure guests were woken up before wake up calls occurred. Good money saver
