Close to everything, good place to stay before a cruise.

These are apartments converted to a hotel. Difficult to find, sign is behind a wall of bushes on a corner with lots of traffic. No parking available, not even street as that is for the apartments. Parking garages do not have in and out. Great for people who love to walk. South pointe is 2 miles away. Overall the place was spacious. There is only 1 tv, bedrooms don’t have TVs.

Hotel seems nice upon entrance but the facilities and service are horrible. The A/C vent dripped on the floor our entire stay. It was a frequent drip that left the floor soaking wet. I nearly slipped several times. It's a miracle that I didn't seriously injure myself. Another thing to note is that the staff is terrible. Check out is at 11am and they started calling the room incessantly at 11:05am. They couldn't even give a decent grace period. I travel frequently and have NEVER been to a hotel who bothered me so quickly. It not that they were sold out and needed the room for new check ins because they said they would charge me $15 if I stayed until 12pm and $25 if I stayed until 1pm. This means that they clearly had availability but instead they decided that harassing their customers for a little extra money was more important than customer support. To make matters worse a MALE staff member used his key to come into the room to tell me about the extra fees. When he opened the door I, a female, was undressed in just my underwear. He DID NOT apologize or even attempt to close the door. He stood there staring at me unapologetically while spouting off about their late fees. That entire interaction was inappropriate and unacceptable. I will never return here again or recommend that anyone else should. They are far better accommodations in the south beach area. I come to Miami often and have stayed at several different hotels, high and low, and have never been treated this way.

We took the suite good for 7 persons. The staff are all accommodating and welcoming. Especially Victoria is very charming and always ready to assist. They let us checked in early as long as the room is ready. We asked for extra comforters for the sofa bed and when we came back they have it all arranged ready for sleeping. The parking availability though is too far from the hotel. Walking distance about 10-15mins to the beach and restaurants. But still in general the room is clean, good beds, very nice interior wall details, we felt safe and overall they never disappoint us with our stay!
