This hotel is NOT in Soria, it's located 3km outside of Soria, separated from Soria by the motorway and a large industrial estate. The 'Plaza Mayor' it is listed as a short walk from is 'Las Casas' which is a tiny housing estate with no shops or bars and one restaurant (which did not open the night we were there). We received a less than warm welcome at the hotel. On arrival we were informed that the bar, cafe and restaurant would not be open that day/night so we couldn't get so much as a cup of coffee. If you stay here make sure you are prepared to drive out for food, drinks, coffee etc because there was nothing there. We booked in for 2 nights but left after one and they didn't even ask us why. Reception was un-staffed from 3pm. I don't think there was even anyone on site.

Good stop off when travelling through Spain
Posted 8 Mar 2023 on HotelsConvenient stop off heading north through Spain .Easy access to main routes round Soria. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok with good selection. Only problem for English travellers is restaurant doesn't open till 21:00 far too late for us so you will have to make do with tapas from the bar rather than a proper meal or eat before you get here.

Handy hotel in Soria
Posted 9 Mar 2020 on HotelsNice hotel handy for travelling back and forth to the northern ports.
It's easy to find, just off the road to Logrono, and from the hotel, it's only 2.5 hours to Bilbao.
Clean and comfy rooms
Pleasant, helpful staff
Decent wifi
Nice bar area for a snack - didn't use the restaurant

Property was clean and in a convenient location. Car parking adjacent to hotel. Staff always available. Cons. - Limited English spoken. Quite noisy until after 2300. No coffee facilities in room.
Overall. Good value.

Campo de Castilla Review
Posted 31 Oct 2018 on HotelsLocated quite easily from directions given by receptionist, room was large, extremely clean - beds were comfortable and the hotel is situated on the crossroads leading out of Soria - ideal for Santander, Burgos, Bilbao etc in Cantabria.

This hotel is in the middle of nowhere

Pros: Not a lot.
Cons: Food availability. Hot water for a shower would be nice.
Location: Nothing
The initial directions given on the mapping system took me to the wrong location. The hotel is out of the way. I arrived by motorbike on a very wet Sunday, the restaurant was closed and I had to pay over the odds for a few pieces of cheese on toast. There was no hot water in the morning for a shower and when I complained I was met with shrugs, no offers of a refund or reduction in price.
