So close to the pedestrian street Vitosha blvd. the hotel has been refurbished and the rooms are really nice and spacious, however, the bathroom was not as clean as I would have wanted.
All in all the positives outweighed the negatives and if I were in Sofia again, I would book the same hotel

Older hotel with great location and staff. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was a bit expensive and in a small area if that is important to you.

Room too hot, AC useless, pillows extremely weird, no sleep. Parking was more expensive than advertised on Expedia listing and they wouldn't honour the advertised price.
Shower head was a bit grim
No hair conditioner, photos made it look like there would be plenty of products like this

Breakfast was excellent. Many local people come for breakfast - not just hotel guests. Lively. Self driving from airport while jetlagged a little tricky. Obscure one way streets. Very safe and interesting neighborhood..

In heart of restaurant scene a couple of blocks away. Near but not too close to government buildings.

The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Very good location, close to everything. My only recommendation is the service. While we were having breakfast, the staff at the reception were having a loud conversation that was louder than ours.
Also, It would be better if there is a way to call for the garage attendant in front of the garage, instead of us getting out of the car and looking for him in the reception area.

Great location and convenient hotel. This is our second stay there, so not too bad. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Posted 15 Nov 2023 on HotelsLocation very central but quiet and felt safe. Service and staff excellent. Room a little dated, bed comfy, pillows not so much. Room was extremely hot all the time despite turning the stat off and keeping the window open. The shower was powerful but the bathroom smelt musty.
