Great location to walk around Singapore. Room has very few amenities (no toiletries, etc.)…and front desk never answers to assist and forgot my wake up call. Room has a good bed and nice lavatory. Bar is good but staff basically ignore you. Sadly, front desk staff do not interact and explain the property (where to go inside, where is what, how to get to restaurant, that there is a place for afternoon tea, when to expect housekeeping, where is the pool, etc.). Overall, I would give this 7 out of 10. Not what you expect for the price.

This is a truly wonderful property. The staff are amazing from the moment you arrive. You feel truly cared for. Nice amenities.

Our stay at this hotel was superb. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and we were so impressed with every member of the staff that we encountered. They were extremely professional and courteous and very friendly. I cannot praise the hotel and staff enough. We would definitely stay here again.

Unpleasant smells

Good service, but our room smelled like a sewer/toilet in the morning when we woke up. They seem to have some issues with proper drainage/sewers.

Pleasant heritage building close to main transport hubs and shopping to suit all budgets . I was under the impression that I would have an open balcony but this was enclosed with no option to access fresh air in the room . The room was nonetheless comfortable with good modern amenities. It was a fair trek to the breakfast area but that daily hike just allowed one to indulge in the wide variety on offer with a guilt free conscience. More than happy to revisit this venue .
