Most of the room under renovations and no housekeeping, Bad smell etc... Overall disappointed.

No English breakfast as advertised. No daily housekeeping as advertised. No window on the room.. Extremely rude and unhelpful staff. Will never stay again.

Basic Hostel - in interesting location
Posted 11 Jan 2019 on HotelsIt is a very basic hostel. The cleaner is there all day and takes great care in cleaning the communal areas. There is hot tea/coffee all day. You can also book just a half day extra, which was great for us, as we were departing late from the airport. However, the walls were thin and not complete, hence we were woken up plenty of times by our neighbors during the night and early morning. :-( The location was interesting, with lots of different temples nearby, as well as the MRT and a shopping centre.

Its my second time with this hostel and its really nice to stay here. Very safe and near in Farrer Station Mrt.

Worst Hostel I stayed in don't bother to go there
Posted 19 Nov 2018 on HotelsI had to upgrade my accommation to another room because I and my son had to sleep in 2 upper twin bunk. The lady in charge of reception told me I should have informed her ahead of time. Breakfast was offered but they didn't even bother to provide more bread to make toast and other stuff when it ran out. There was no one in the front desk if you have to check out before 8:30 A.M. We had to make arrangement ahead of time so we could get back our deposit for our key. It was very noisy inside the room and I and my son didn't get enough rest. They charge for the use of towels and other stuff you didn't bring on your trip. I won't come back to this hostel again even though I loved the city of Singapore.
