Highly recommended!
Posted 13 Jul 2017 on HotelsEverything about our stay at Kralanh Petite Villa was wonderful! The staff were kind and attentive, the rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and clean, and the tuktuk service was a dependable! The only flaw was the expensive laundry service, but that was our mistake since we didn't ask ahead for the rate. We could easily have had our laundry done at a shop in the town.

Gave our prepaid room away.
Posted 12 Jul 2017 on HotelsMy complaint is that they gave away our room the day before we were due to arrive. We were traveling and without a phone so I could only contact them when I had wifi. They put us in another hotel further from town. The new hotel was very nice. However, I hooked this room and it was prepaid for several months. I was not pleased when they gave our room away.

Comfortable rooms and cool pool!
Posted 11 Jun 2017 on HotelsThis is a gorgeous place with a beautifully appointed room. The swimming is perfect after a day exploring temples.
The day staff in particular Rath who was the biggest smile, are very helpful and friendly.
The Villa is along way from any good food choices so you are relying on transport to and from the villa which becomes costly.
It is a good base if you are just here for a night or two.

Friendly and comfortable side of Siem Reap
Posted 24 Mar 2017 on HotelsSuch a wonderfully hospitable, friendly, warm, welcoming, cute, and quiet hotel. It was nice to be at a short distance from the center of Siem Reap - to see local life and the school children walking / biking every day. But getting into town was super easy. The hotel arranged for us to have our own tuk tuk driver for our entire stay. He was always ready on 5 minutes notice to take us anywhere, and stayed with us wherever we went. The trip to town took less than 10 minutes. One day we biked in and it's an easy ride. The staff were so friendly and helpful, arranging tickets and activities for us, and even sharing half a watermelon with us one night. The hotel food is varied and tasty, and the pool is lovely. We greatly enjoyed our stay!

Perfect stay. Wonderful staff.
Posted 4 Nov 2016 on HotelsWonderful stay and very safe. Very welcoming staff. Your own tuk tuk driver the whole stay for whatever you want to do, whenever you want, all day if needed to see Angkor Wat. Free breakfast made from a small menu and yummy with a beautiful balcony view. I really enjoyed the location. It's close to Angkor Wat and about 10 mins into town. So you get to really enjoy the city and the jungle equally. We took a short walk from our hotel to surrounding areas and met some village kids and got to see how people lived and the schools in the area. It is a very nice and clean neighborhood in the village area with dirt roads. A true local experience. Its also located near the small lake. We saw people fishing too. But again, the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating with anything you need or just to have a nice conversation. You cannot go wrong with this place at all. Also near the airport about 15 mins. Tuk Tuk driver will pick you up! So fun on arrival to ride like a local.
I didn't mind but just so you know, the beds are hard if that is not something you like.

Very excellent place!
Posted 31 Aug 2016We stayed at this villa for 2 nights. It is located further in Veal Village so the way there is 5 minutes of dirt road. The villa itself is small, I think they have less than 10 rooms in total which makes it ideal for a peaceful getaway. The deluxe room was very nice, complete with amenities you will see in most 4-star and 5-star hotels. It's clean and has your usual requisite amenities like TV, aircon, wifi, refrigerator, security deposit box, hairdryer. Be aware though that the toilet and sink are in separate from the shower which I think is common in Cambodia but for us was unusual. The breakfast is typical combination of Western and local food where you have to order it the previous night so they can prepare in advance. The staff, I have to say, were very attentive and helpful.
All in all, a good stay in this villa. Definitely recommended for your Siem Reap stay.

Loved our stay with child...
Posted 21 Jun 2016 on HotelsWe loved our stay at this lovely hotel with large rooms, balcony n warm, friendly staff. Breakfast was wholesome. Our toddler loved the place. Only drawback is the location as it is off the main road. The hotel tuk tuk driver is always smiling n ready to go anywhere. Highly recommended.
