We arrived late on 4/26 at 9pm, and when we asked for a late checkout, we were told they were full and could not accommodate us. We liked that the property was quiet and the the room was spacious. Surface areas didn't look wiped down, and there was leftover, moldy cheese and olives in the fridge. The next morning, when my husband tried to shower, the water would not drain, and he could not finish showering. I called down, asking for assistance. After 45 min of trying, it was concluded that maintenance was unable to rectify the issue. My husband and I asked multiple people for a solution (perhaps, a shower in another room) and a late check out, and no one seemed to have the authority to make a decision to help us. We had friends staying in another room who allowed me to shower in their room. As we were leaving and walking through the lobby, we were approached by a woman who apologized for the inconvenience. She followed us out to our car and offered a $25 gift card, saying they couldn't give us a refund because the manager was on onsite and needed to come "investigate."

I do apologize for the issues you experienced during your stay with us at Home2Suites I was informed of the shower not draining properly and I did authorize a late check out and gift card for you and your husband. It is also my understanding our maintenance got to work on your shower within a matter of minutes and had the issue resolved less than 1 hour after you reported it.We rely on our guest to inform us of the good as well as the bad experiences. If we don't know what we are doing wrong, we cannot fix them. The same for the things we are doing right for us to continue to grow in a positive way. Our housekeeping team does intensive cleaning with strict supervision as well as our preventative maintenance is very thorough. I am very surprised to hear there was left over food in your refrigerator I guarantee this will be addressed with my staff. I hope you choose to enrol as a Hilton Honors member giving us another opportunity.to have you as a guest.

No hot water at 8:30 at night

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We take all issues seriously. We have brand new hot water boilers in the hotel and this is the first issue we had. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and we have remedied the issue so future will not have to worry about this.
