This property appears to be under renovation. The furniture is sparse and uncomfortable. Beds are dated spring model but sheets and towels are fresh and clean. TV has broken reception.

I was looking for a roomy accommodation that was near a tube station in a good neighborhood with lots of dining options. I am thrilled to say that our 2-bedroom apartment was huge by London standards. The 2 queen beds were very comfortable. Our kitchen was equipped for our needs with frying pans, toaster, cappuccino machine, dishwasher. The apt is not fancy - in fact could use an upgrade in paint and furniture - but it was perfect for our needs and our 19-year-old son was so pleased to have his own room and privacy. Bathroom is a good size however tub is very high and may be an issue for older folks. We were 2 mins from Liverpool Street tube station and there were tons of buses around. There was a Tesco shopping mart a few mins away and we were able to get our breakfast items, drinks, etc. easily and at good prices. The area is chock full of pubs and good restaurants. Spitalfields market is less than 10 mins walk, Brick Lane (Indian, Bangalore and Pakistani Food) 15 min walk away. Lots of little restaurants (Eataly, Noodles and Beer, Nando's, etc etc) all nearby. We went to La Tagliata for a lovely Italian dinner. We were so comfortable at our hotel. I would only say the staff at the front desk could have been friendlier and more engaging. If you are staying for several days (we stayed 9) you need to ask them to replace towels, pick up garbage, etc.

Shower didn't work for 2 days. Had to shower in different rooms each time. When it was fixed the glass barrier was not sealed and water flooded the whole bathroom. We complained but it was ignored and never fixed. Towels are not changed unless you requested it and not enough given. No shampoo provided.

The room was fine. They appeared to be updating the hallways but did not seem to make much progress while we were there. The Pret A Manger right outside was great, as well as access to transportation.

I liked having a washer/dryer and kitchen with a microwave and coffee machine. Since there were no instructions on how to use them, though, I had to call reception for instructions. The rooms were spotless and quite large for London. Great bathroom. The area is very busy.

Good location in that close to transit options and police station 3 doors away, however the property does not look like the photos. Desk staff pleasant and while we did not stay there during day, it was a noisy neighbourhood. Busy city area- I get that. For the price we paid, the rooms were not comfortable. The bed sagged, the bathroom floor spongy by the tub due to water damage. The bathroom ceiling had stains from presumably the tub above due to pattern. The shower hose was stained with mould. A/C clogged with dust. They did provide us with fans. The laundry was washer only, with no rack to hang clothes. The coffee maker had no instructions -unfamiliar design and we were provided with decaf only. Living room uncomfortable to sit. We knew check out time was 11, and despite’ do not disturb’ sign on door, the cleaner was anxious to get in at 10:30 and opened the door while we were packing. Would not recommend.

Property is well located for the City but the apartment and common areas are in poor condition and the apartment had an unpleasant smell - as if someone had been smoking in it. Opening the window didn't help. In one bedroom there is no ability to open the window and the aircon unit did not work well (and was very dusty). The photos look a lot better than reality. I would not stay again.
