Perfect location near Shizuoka Station. Clean, comfortable rooms. Got the room with 2 "large twins". They are bigger twin beds, but just know it'll be super tight if you're trying to fit 2 people in 1 bed. Not a complaint, just making aware.

Property in good condition and well maintained. Bathroom a little bigger than some business hotels. Very convenient for JR station.

Checking in was both smooth and pleasant. The room was clean & comfortable. Room & toilet amenities were more than adequate. Housekeeping staff were very efficient. Breakfast was simple but enough. Location was fantastic. Near the train station. Walking distance to Sumpu Castle & some of the local sights. Walking distance to plenty of eateries. Mini-Stop convenience store is a minute walk from the front entrance. Rooms are small, like many in Japan. If you travel with big luggage/suitcases you might want to rethink...otherwise it's a great hotel. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed my three nights, and I decided to extend my stay for a whole month. I am the founder and CEO of an International Cultural Exchange organization and will be in Japan doing academic research. The front desk staff has been friendly and kind. The only situation that I found disturbing was the night staff front desk person that told me I could not eat the food that I had prepared in the lobby microwave in the dining area. She said I had to go to my room and eat. The only microwave is on the 1st floor lobby, so if you go down to the lobby to heat some food you have to take it to your room to eat, you can not eat it in the cafeteria that is right next to the microwave on the 1st floor. The cafeteria is completely empty in the evening. What was disturbing was the manner in which the evening front desk clerk spoke, there was no politeness, (Sir, excuse me, I'm sorry but, can you please..., the way she spoke sounded rude. I just picked up my food and I apologized and went up to my room to finish my Japanese noodles. Besides this situation, I really like this hotel and it is where I will stay when I am in Shizuoka.

Basic room, enough space for two people. Cheap laundry on 10th floor (only one machine) but the drying function is slow. Better to dry stuff by hanging it in your room—even pants should be dry by morning. Good shower. Breakfast OK, just a simple buffet of pastries. Location is super convenient to the train station and close enough to walk to the main shopping and restaurant area. Not a destination hotel but perfect as a stop on the way back from the Alps area.

Staff Discriminated me by demanding a copy of my ID because I am a foreigner in a very rude way. A resident is not required to give out copies of their card so I felt very embarrassed in front of my colleagues. My Japanese colleague did not have to give a copy even though we checked in at the same time and reserved on the same website. I am considering to sue if they do not apologize.

Very happy with hotel but it would have been better if the bar area accommodated more people and was open for longer hours.
