Stayed here after a wedding in Shizuoka. Good location and easy access to transportation and other routes. Small rooms but enough for a solo traveler.

Elegant old style hotel with very good service apart from the strange room cleaning and servicing practices. Breakfast was very enjoyable and the room was good with excellent bedding and space. The pillows were very good. The lady at reception, Ms O’hara, was very attentive and helpful and she provided excellent recommendations about a number of things. She spoke extremely good English and this was an advantage. The location is very handy for the trains and buses as well as restaurants, shopping and night life. They don’t have any cable channels and the rooms do not have a safe.
