Beautiful characterful bedroom with a stunning bathroom [The Pink Room], and a lovely meal in the restaurant. To top it off a fantastic breakfast too.

Perfect room ~ missed opportunity
Posted 21 Feb 2024 on HotelsThe Bower House Restaurant and Rooms is in an ideal position on the Main Street of Shipston on Stour. Our room was large, comfortable and decorated with style. The en-suite was equally large with a perfect walk in shower and separate bath.
An amazing place to stay ~ it would have been better if there were someone there to meet us and ~ had I realised that the restaurant was closed from Sunday evening until Wednesday morning. Disappointingly, this was the length of our visit and so we only sampled the food at breakfast as we were leaving.
Luckily, the high street had other places we could eat in. We regret not having the opportunity to enjoy the restaurant’s evening offerings.

Fantastic experience in the Cotswolds
Posted 2 Nov 2023 on HotelsThis place was amazing! One of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in! Kids had their own separate room with bunk beds which they loved. The main bedroom was stunning with a fabulous bed and facilities. The bathroom had a massive bath which filled in minutes. The separate shower room was fantastic. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Really lovely hotel. Perfect decor, huge bathroom - felt like a treat! Nice touches of fruit and biscuits on arrival, and still and sparkling water. Very polite staff.
It’s quite noisy outside as the hotel sits in front of a small parking area and strip of shops, so bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Floors are quite creaky but that sort of adds to the ambiance if you don’t mind it. Doors are a little hard to lock and are quite heavy. We were in a room next to the staff cleaning cupboard (I think) so from quite early could hear them coming in and out of it.
Food very nice in the restaurant downstairs.
Overall, a lovely place to stay and will definitely return.
