"As a U.S. citizen and non-Japanese speaker, it was difficult to fully communicate with the desk staff in spite of the hotel advertizing as having English speakers. Thank goodness for Google translate! My room was clean and comfortable with excellent amenities. The location is also excellent: just steps away from access to the Sapporo subway system; a short walk to Odori Park and a very short walk to a massive mall."
