Warm and Hospitable Family-run Business

The resort is cute but note it is humble. This is a family-run business and you can tell immediately: everyone is incredibly kind, helpful, they remember your name and details immediately and are responsive and very supportive. Rates are as advertised and transparent (no surprises). Food is home-made and hearty. They were so kind one evening when I advised I'd arrive after the dinner hours, to wait to cook my specific meal and bring it to my room! They also packed lunches for me to take to the conference I was attending which was wonderful. My only struggle was that the shower appeared to be a hot-water-on-demand style - which meant at times it fluctuated for 45-60 seconds between high pressure to basically a trickle, and back to high pressure.

There were mosquitos and there were no screens in the windows. It is under the runway from the airport. It is ready for demolition. Breakfast cost an additional $15US, despite that the coffee was packets of decaf. Lastly, the other hotels in the area include breakfast -- and a lavish breakfast at that. The staff were super lovely. I suspect this hotel was resuscitated from closure for the COP 27 meetings.

Thank you for your reviewkindly note the following:- When you booked your room online , there was the option of booking "Room Only" or "Bed and breakfast". You booked "bed only". so you knew well ahead that breakfast is not included.-Yes, there an extra breakfast charge when booking "room only" and this is optional . But you insisted on taking it for free and this was not possible. (the result of which was this review)It is worth noting that in the 2 days you were at the hotel, You did not try our breakfast or even go to the restaurant to state or judge and state whether it is "lavish" or not -It is well known that February and November are mosquito season in Sharm el sheikh. this is clearly stated in not only in our hotel manual but all over Sharm El Sheikh. Nevertheless our hotel has taken all precautions and even took extra measures by placing mosquito repellents and sprays in all rooms. As you left the windows open all night, it is expected that few mosquitoes may come in. -The fact that you can hear planes is because 30,000 people from all over the world were attending the COP 27 conference , naturally a slight sound of airplane arrivals has to be heard in all parts of this tiny city not just us our hotel.finally , We would have appreciated if you would have wrote in your review about the room size (45 m2), the fine furniture, the cleanliness of the rooms and the entire hotel , the strength and speed of the Wi-Fin the room and all over the hotel , the amenities in your room (toiletries , fruit basket, coffee ,tea and mineral water) and the tentativeness of our staff even to your personal requests and needs. we are sorry again that we were not able to fulfill your demand and insistence to have free breakfast

They were not prepared to receive us. The room was not very clean and in no good condition. There were plenty of mosquitoes and The staff were very friendly and helpful but the place need to be taken care of :(

Hotel is close to the airport and staff is nice. A small shop where one can buy basic things is nearby. It appears as deserted, though! The hotel is badly maintained. No restaurants inside the hotel are operational and none is nearby. Hot water is available but is heated by a small heater which is not good for taking a shower. Doors make noises as the wind moves.

Thank you for your review kindly note that: -Our main restaurant inside the hotel is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner serving international "al carte " cuisine additionally there is room service available through out the night To state that there is no restaurant is incorrect. -The hotel is only 2 km away from Soho square (the main entertainment area in sharm el sheikh with several restaurants and bars ) To state that there is no nearby restaurant is also in correct. -Our water heaters are electrical. Water is not stored in electrical heaters!! the water (regardless of the quantity runs through the heater to be heated. it is international hotel specification . you are the first person to ever mention or criticize the size of an electrical water heater. Perhaps if you would have tried our showers you would not have mentioned or criticized this . This statement is also incorrect. Finally , please note that when it is windy , it is quite natural for the wind to make noise when it moves

Quiet but a bit remote place although close to airport. Looks abandoned. Local drivers not always know this place.

Thank you for your review. Logaina Sharm Resort is situated in Sharks Bay. its a very well known and distinguished area in Sharm El Sheikh. Sharks bay area is very close to: Sharm El Sheikh international airport, Soho square (shopping center and resturant and night club area), and the main conference center . Our resort is only a kilometer away from the internationally known "Sharks Bay Beach". Logaina Sharm Resort has been in operations since 2005. The fact that your local taxi driver didnt know the place only implies that he too is new to Sharm El Sheikh.
