It is a nice property with outstanding views of the port. The bedroom was clean, comfortable, and ample for Japan standards. The staff is courteous and the pristine shared kitchen works well. In case you aren’t driving, note that it isn’t quite walking distance from downtown. Btw the GPS took me to a wrong address, by the port; actually the hotel is at the top of the hill. I totally recommend it.

Walls are thin. If you stay on the same floor with family with kids, then you can and will hear small children scream, cry or run throughout the nights. Not hotel’s fault but you cant escape those noisy issues.

Lovely shared spaces (living room, cooking area, onsen) at this hotel. In walking distance to good restaurants for dinner. Was glad to have some groceries since there was not much to eat for breakfast in town.

Utoro “ hostel”
Posted 3 Aug 2019 on HotelsThe hotel is on top of a hill and overlooks the harbor. Utoro is not a pretty place but the hotel is operated like a hostel with cooking facilities on the 1st level. Room was spacey but did not have a bathroom. Tge “onzen” on the 1st level had to be used.
