Brilliant for the price!
Posted 12 Nov 2020 on HotelsConsidering how cheap it was it was excellent. Very clean, big room with a comfy bed. I’ve stayed in worse places that were 10 times the price! It’s a little walk (15 mins) to the subway but it’s a nice stroll.

Disappointed and moved hotels after 2 nights there
Posted 10 Apr 2018 on HotelsInternet only worked about 10% of the time, and staff spoke no English whatsover (despite your ad saying the staff were multi-lingual!) which led to me feeling completely isolated when I needed help with arranging taxis etc. I was put in a room next to the security door, so I was woken up every time someone banged the door (which was every time it was opened or closed). Came back to room to find advertising for massage parlours lodged into my door (despite the corridor being locked to outsiders) so as a woman travelling alone, this made me feel uncomfortable, and I moved hotel after two nights there.

Good and inexpensive, but noisy

Pros: Simple, but nice and clean rooms. Simple, but nice and clean rooms.
Cons: The hotel is frequented by school classes and tour groups who make terrible noise until midnight and beyond. Only occasionally is there someone at the reception who speaks English. Got 2 two bags for a 4 day stay. No coffee.
Location: The hotel is not easy to reach by public transport. There are many shops and inexpensive restaurants nearby.

Convenient and clean hotel for business traveller

Cons: It is non-smoking room, but we are quite sure that someone smoked in the room before.
Location: Walk a bit further you will find a number of small and nice restaurants for local food and breakfast.
We went to Shanghai for a short business trip. This hotel is in Lujiazui area, close to all the financial centres. It is a bit far from the train station, but taxi in Shanghai is cheap anyway.
For the price we paid, we were really surprised at the clean and tidy room we got. More importantly, the hotel has very secured entrance at each floor, lift area, so that you will not have the annoying small brochures / leaflets inserted for 'special services'.
We will recommend this as a descent budget hotel for business travellers.

Hotel is good, surrounding area is messy
Posted 28 Apr 2014 on HotelsThe surrounding area appear messy, dirty BUT overall inside the hotel is clean, modern. BUT in the morning, very difficult to get metered taxi. I have to end up getting the black private taxi.
