The heated toilet seat is broken. The kitchen wares is horrible. There isn't enough towel and it's very small. The place is super run down. Place felt dirty and run down.

There is no one to check you in at this property. There will either be a piece of paper on a desk with your name, room number, and the lock passcode for said room (!!!), or you will have to contact the management through an iPad on the wall of the "Front Desk". Both of these methods present an extreme security risk, as there is no lock on the entrance, meaning anyone can enter, look at the message history on the iPad and see any guest's room number and passcode. On a related note, contacting the management can be extremely difficult as they do not seem to be consistently monitoring these messages. This was evidenced by a number of guests having left questions in the messages, only to be answered hours later, or not at all. As for the room quality, you're bound to find somewhere nicer for the same or less money. The "mattress" was essentially a box spring. Overall cleanliness was average at best. The shower and the toilet are in the same room, which is fine in and of itself, as I am told this is common in South Korea. However there is zero separation, meaning that the toilet paper is liable to get wet... Cannot recommend this property on the grounds of the insecure check-in alone, and it has no other redeeming features. Even if you just need a place to crash, you'll no doubt be able to find a nicer place in the same area for less money.

Hello, firstly we would like to thank you for your time leaving us a review to share your experience with others. Our front desk works from 8am to 11pm on Mon to Sat and 8am to 4pm on Sunday. Which there's people to check people in in these time. However, I think that you might arrived our place after our working hours that's why no one was siting at the front desk and there's paper with your name on our desk. There're a whole lot of CCTV all around this buildings and moreover, we didn't even had like a case of people got their things stolen in our place. The ipad is for the late comers or any other emergency request during the late night. We did replied late sometimes and we are sorry about that but we insist we did better these days. However, those evidence you found such as unreplied message are mostly because we just got contacted with them in another social medial platform or sometimes they just call us after typing message in the ipad, and we just solve their problem. We do delete the message every morning and evening as some of our guest didn't get to delete their conversation on time. We have changed all our mattress at the past July and we are sorry to make you feel uncomfortable with our old ones. Land in Seoul are insanely expensive, and we are sorry that our toilet may be small in some of the rooms. And again, we do have people in the front desk but not when you are coming in at 1am.. Guest Houses in Seoul seldom got a 24hrs front desk with people siting at there. We are sorry that we can't meet your expectation.

Walking distance to Myeongdong shopping area, quite place to rest after a long hour outside. There a 24 hrs convenient store downstairs and along the way there a few cafe and restaurants. This is a guest house and don’t expect daily housekeeping, they only change daily towel and refill amenities. The floor was heated during winter in my family studio which come with a washing machine. There a day where water heater was spoiled and they offer us to wash up in another empty room while the rectified the problem immediately. Overall stay was pleasant, except that the bed is abit hard.

Thanks! If you want housekeeping service, tell to my staff. Originally we don't provide housekeeping service daily. And you can use coin laundry on B1 lounge. Sorry that you feel uncomfortable.

We booked and paid for room with kitchen but when we got there firstly, they couldnt even found our booking. So we showed our proofs of payment and booking. They placed us in 2 different rooms, which is okay with us because one of the room came with a kitchen. But the next morning we were asked to change room, to just one room, we said okay until we realized that the room has no kitchen. We told the guy that work there that we paid for room with kitchen, but he told us theres nothing he can do. It was a poor experience for us using expedia. That our first and last time using expedia.

Who should be blamed?

Posted 11 Nov 2018 on Hotels
I am disappointed because I did not get the type of room I reserved. It was uncomfortable to squeeze in a small room regardless of the 3 queen beds as I travelled with teenage children. I requested to change room but the staff in charge was reluctant to do so. He claimed that hotel.com had booked the room given to me. What is the guarantee I 'll get the exact room that I might reserve in the future??

I was advised beforehand that there was no front desk service and to contact hotel for check in information before arrival. 2 emails got no response and finally connected via kakao talk. Hotel location is good...3 minute walk to Myeongdong subway station exit 4 right next to McDonalds and Paris Baguette. Right across the street is the Myeongdong shopping district and street food vendors. Ground floor of the hotel also has a 24 hour convenience store The reason for the low rating is the lack of any guest service whatsoever. All communication with the staff is written on a large eraser board. I had a major problem with water leaking directly from the sink to the floor and luckily there was a drain right there to catch most of the water. I made 1 verbal request and 2 written request for repair but received no response at all. I was hoping to get some kind of compensation before checking out but did not get the opportunity to do so.

The room was not too bad for the price, but a few improvements could make it a much better experience for us as a quest. 1. Lights and more signages to the entrance. The entrance was difficult to find as it was dark and not enough signages. It was quite stressful as we were dragging heavy luggages and I was travelling with my mom. 2. More attention in preparing the room for check-in. The room was not well prepared as there was still rubbish from the previous guest in the toilet dustbin and no large towels provided. By the time we realized there we no large towels it was too late to ask for some as the receptionist is only there between 10am-6pm.
