This hotel is located right next to Korean national police station. There are hospitals across the road. You may hear sirens time to time, but not often. The siren sound did not bother at all with night sleeping. The staffs are kind and professional. Breakfast is in high quality. I recommand this hotel and brand.

I stayed at the Shilla Stay hotel that turned out to be extremely small and it is not suitable for a leisure traveler like myself. While the compact space may be standard in Seoul, it was quite a shock for me as an American traveler accustomed to more spacious accommodations. The room was designed with a single business traveler in mind, making it challenging to move around comfortably with more than a briefcase. If you're planning a vacation with multiple suitcases, this hotel would definitely not be the best choice. The constraints on space made it inconvenient and somewhat uncomfortable, particularly when trying to unpack or relax after a long day exploring. Breakfast was not included in the room rate, but I decided to give it a try anyway. Despite a variety of options available, the breakfast lacked any distinctive local flavor, which was disappointing. Additionally, the dining area was quite crowded and chaotic, making it difficult to enjoy a peaceful meal before starting the day. Overall, if you're a solo business traveler with minimal luggage and you understand that space is at a premium in Seoul, this hotel might meet your needs. However, for couples or travelers seeking a more spacious and comfortable stay, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

I had a wonderful stay at the Shilla hotel! This trip I was traveling alone as a young woman, which can sometimes be scary especially when you’re unfamiliar with the area but I felt extremely safe at this hotel. The room was equipt with everything I could’ve possibly needed, and there is a metro stop conveniently located steps away from the entrance. I found it extremely easy to navigate myself through the city. I took a train from Daegu to Seoul station and was able to walk from the train station to the hotel (~15 min).

There is a bus stop and subway station outside the hotel. also have a bus stop directly from the airport. The hotel is clean, but my standard room is a bit small. will come again
