We had to pay more than double for an upgraded room or move 3 times in 1 week stay. We asked for a quiet room and were put right next to the noisy pool bar, unless we paid an extra $200 for the suite, which after an unfriendly and difficult conversation, we felt we had no choice as we had booked 4 rooms and were unsure how to change hotels through Expedia. The checkin staff quite rude and dismissive. The breakfast was the worst I have ever had in 20 years of visiting Bali, twice a year. I’ve stayed here before and it’s no comparison to previous visits. The bacon was inedible, the fruit & juice were limited, the omelette were ok for 3 days, then changed the cheese to something orange. The coffee was undrinkable, but you could pay $3 for a more palatable coffee, which still wasn’t great, but drinkable. The restaurant and gym’s air con was very bad, as a result the gym was unusable. The restaurant, was so hot, I saw people go in the pool before eating breakfast to get wet to make it more bearable. The staff agreed, the restaurant managed had his own little fan the carried around, it was an awful environment to eat in. Previously they had big air con units, I suggest they bring them back. All in all a very disappointing experience and not comparable to our previous visits. It’s only saving grace was the pool area near the suite room that we paid extra for, the room wasn’t the best considering the price but the outside pool area was nice.

I'm basing my review on the fact that this is good value for money, not a 5 star resort. There is an issue with pool lounges that needs to be addressed. Guests staying on ground floor rooms have their own private lounges which look over the pool however we noticed that a lot of these guests would put towels down on lounges around the pool therefore guests on higher floors without their own private lounges then had no sun lounges to use. Very selfish and irritating behaviour. For a budget friendly resort though I would recommend.

Great location, close to the beach, close to shops. Hotel offers buggy service to beach and eat street. Friendly helpful

Superb food friendly obliging staff. Swim up bar and pool facilities huge and crystal clean with big screens and AFL etc. safe area with the best sports bar in Bali the Fox and Rabbit a ten minute stroll. Close to beach and Ku de Tah. I highly recommend this impressive resort.

Good time by me and the wife swim up bar was good breakfast was good there is a golf buggy to run you to beach or into town so that was great.

Fabulous stay- will definitely book again next visit
