Our only reservations were about the restaurant. The dishes were uneven. Wait staff struggled to communicate with English-speaking guests. We had several dish mis-haps delivered.

Excellent location! The hotel is a 10 min walk from the beach and the main center of town. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Parking was easy and plentiful. Breakfast and the restaurant offered delicious food. The hotel property is beautiful and overlooks the ocean. I would stay here again and recommend to friends.

Beautifully run and relaxing hotel
Posted 5 Jul 2015 on HotelsWe had a fantastic stay here. Our room had a beautiful view overlooking the sea and the daily complimentary soft drinks were appreciated.
We were also very impressed with all the staff we met and particular thanks go to Kathleen who checked us in and to Gabriela and Mike in the restaurant who both spoke very good English.
The menu had a good selection of vegetarian and vegan main dishes and staff were always willing to check with the chef to see whether the starters and desserts were also suitable for vegetarians. The breakfast buffet was extensive and all the food was of excellent quality.
The atmosphere was very civilised but was not at all pretentious. The attention to detail was excellent but there was no stuffiness in evidence.

Wir fahren seit 10 Jahren ins Hotel Bernstein und wurden noch nie enttäuscht.
Die Sauna ist fabelhaft nach langen Spaziergängen am Wasser und das Essen ist einfach köstlich.
