The tower is truly unique. We especially liked the story of how it was built, told in a beautiful book on the 5th (observation) level!

Such a unique property! The room had an odd funky smell to it, but considering it's a tower, we got past that. The upstairs observation area was amazing! Very cool stay!

This place was very unique and setup nicely for the space provided. We like being away from the bustle of other travellers most of all. Lots of neat sights to see fairly close to the property. Would recommend!!

Solstice anniversary stay
Posted 25 Dec 2023 on HotelsThis property is amazing and the host was great. An incredible use of what may have been an old grain tower as accommodations, one room per floor. It's silent and the top floor is a panoramic view of the landscape. Feels remote but is quick to Flúðir for dinner. A beautiful spot to wake up in the snow!

We loved our stay here. We rented 3 of the 4 rooms and had the top area to ourselves. This was perfect for us to get together and - on the first night - see the Northern Lights !
The property is pretty unique. All the rooms were well heated and surprisingly well equipped kitchen wise given the space available.

Highly recommend!
Posted 22 Nov 2023 on HotelsStaying in the tower was so unique and fun. The room was just right with just enough supplies to enjoy a hot plate dinner and glass of wine. We also were happy to have coffee for the morning. The observation area was phenomenal and allowed us to see the northern lights in the warmth of the tower.
